La la la la la…. don’t know why but I’m quiet stress-free today. And it’s been quite a while since I last had this feeling. Alhamdulillah….. praises to Allah. Without his blessings we would’nt have the good health, great food, comfortable home, loving family, and all the wonderful things that we are enjoying today. When we are sick, when we have less money, when we are faced with problems, we usually turn to Allah for help but when we are doing OK we tend to forget Him. I want to change that attitude and I will make it appoint to thank Him always because no matter how bad our situation is, it is the BEST for us and there are many more people in this world who are in more unfortunate situations than the one we are in.
And alhamdulillah… the kids are also doing well in school. In the recent first monthly test for Sekolah Agama, Shumayl got no. 2 in class, Syaima’ no. 3 and Syifa’ no. 1. Couldn’t ask for more. In the morning school’s first monthly test… Syifa’s got all A’s while Shumayl and Syaima’ all A’s except for 1 subject. Okaylah. For now. But am going to see that they get all A’s for all subjects in future tests and exams because I’m quite sure they are capable to do so. Just need some guidance and push!
And in conjunction with the Maulidur Rasul recently, Shumayl was chosen to recite the Al-Quran in Tilawah at his school and he won first place for Year 4. And as for Syifa’, she got first place in the coloring competition (for Year 1 in both Sek. Kebangsaan and Sek. Agama). Syaima’… well… she didn’t participate in any competition but in Sek. Agama, her team won first place in Mencari Khazanah Nabi (treasure hunt). I am so proud of them. I think they have gone up the school stages more frequently than I did when I was their age (in fact, when I was their age… I didn’t go up any school stage! hahahaha). So, I am very proud of them. And again… praises to Allah for allowing my kids to enjoy such nikmah!
